Nowadays work environments change very fast. Where in the manufacturing industry a lot is digitized and automated, the office landscape changes continuously. Open plan offices, flexible workplaces and multimedia everywhere. This can cause a lot of noise nuisance, resulting in stress and overstimulation. It is not for nothing that acoustics are number 2 in the complaints about the working environment. That is why Ahrend has set itself the goal of bringing the silence back to the workplace.<\/p>\n
With physical and acoustic sound barriers, they prevent sound from spreading further. For example, they work on sound booths\/telephone boxes for open offices. These attenuate sound up to 47 decibels. For this they needed a glass door hinge. Of course we set to work to develop a hinge that closes the glass door as much as possible, so that sound cannot still escape.<\/p>\n
